Aduana earn draw at home against Legon Cities

Sam Adams notched a second-half equalizer as Aduana FC denied Legon Cities a shock victory in a 1-1 draw in their 2021/22 Ghana Premier League (GPL) match-day 22 clash on Wednesday.

It was a day for wingers as they scored in either half at the NAB I Stadium in Dormaa.

Abdul Nasiru Hamzah’s 35th-minute opener looked set to hand the visiting Royals a rare road win.

But Sam Adams hit back for title-chasing Aduana in the 77th minute.

The Fire Boys continued to enjoy the better of the second half but could not secure the three points as the midweek fixture ended in a 1-1 stalemate.

Aduana FC remain third in the league standings with 38 points, the same as second-placed Bechem United who also drew away to Dreams FC.
