Hearts of Oak coach, Samuel Boadu believes the addition of Sulley Muntari will help turn the fortunes of the club around.
The former Black Stars midfielder has reached an agreement to join the Ghana Premier League title holders with the deal only awaiting official announcement by the Phobians.
Muntari trained with the team last week for three days – Tuesday to Thursday.
The 37-year-old Uefa Champions League winner went ahead to witness Hearts of Oak’s 1-0 win over King Faisal at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.
Reacting to the imminent arrival of Muntari, coach Boadu said:
Sulley is a motivator. He is a good guy, the day that I saw him [at our training] it was amazing how he advised the boys.
“I believe if Sulley will join the team, things will change.”
