Official: Hearts to host Kotoko in rescheduled Super Clash Feb. 20

The 2021/22 Ghana Premier League (GPL) Super Clash between Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko has now been confirmed to come off Sunday, February 20.

The match-day 7 fixture was originally scheduled for December at the Accra Sports Stadium.

But what is to be the first meeting between the arch-rivals this season, had to be frozen due to the Phobians’ campaign in the Caf Confederation Cup at the time.

The new February date means the outstanding match will be cleared after all other matches in the first round of the league season have been played.

In the preceding week – February 13, Hearts are scheduled to travel to face returnees Real Tamale United (RTU) at the Aliu Mahama Stadium while Kotoko host new boys Accra Lions in Kumasi.

The Hearts-Kotoko Super Clash then follows at 3 pm in Accra the following weekend.
