New Club Industriel de Kamsar signing, Amos Frimpong has called on his fans especially Asante Kotoko faithful to rally their support behind the Guinean side to eliminate Hearts of Oak from the 2021/22 Caf Champions League.
The two sides face off in the first preliminary round of the competition scheduled to be played in September.
Frimpong, the former Asante Kotoko captain, is hoping the backing from Hearts’ sworn rivals will help Kamsar to progress.
“My fans out there in Ghana, we have been paired against Accra Hearts of Oak and my message to the fans especially Kotoko fans I know you love me so much please I will need your support to qualify to the next stage of the competition.
“Come in your numbers at the Accra Sports Stadium to support your boy Amos Frimpong,” he said.
CI Kamsar will host the first leg on a date between September 10 and 12 before playing guests to the Phobians in Accra the following weekend.
