Asante Kotoko have two big players – Abdul Latif Anabila and Augustine Okrah – back after head coach Mariano Barreto named his squad for Sunday’s Ghana Premier League matchday 25 visit to Liberty Professionals in Sogakope.
A training ground injury caused Anabila to miss the Porcupines’ last four matches but the midfielder is available now while attacking star Okrah is also back in the fold after a one-match layoff.
There is also a first-time inclusion for young defender Andrews Appau who had not made the squad since the arrival of Barreto.
Patrick Asmah, who started in the mid-week win over Ebusua Dwarfs, Kwame Adom Frimpong and Michael Vinicius have lost their spots in the squad.
Asante Kotoko lead the league standings with a 4-point gap and would be hoping to beat Liberty again to complete a double over their hosts on Sunday.
