Hearts turn attention to coach Samuel Boadu

Medeama SC coach, Samuel Boadu is the latest to be linked to the vacant job at local giants Hearts of Oak.

The Phobians have been on a hunt for a new trainer following the resignation of Serbian Kosta Papic last week.

Footy-Ghana.com sources indicate Hearts have had to move for Boadu after talks with initial target Yaw Acheampong hit a snag.

Acheampong, the Elmina Sharks coach, sources say rejected the club after he was informed he will be working with an expatriate Technical Director.

Now the attention of the 19-time Ghana Premier League winners has turned to Boadu who has been at Medeama over the past three years.

It is unknown if the former Asokwa Deportivo coach will be interested in leaving the new Medeama project for a switch to the capital-based club.
