Olympics hoping to replicate new-found form against Hearts – Awako

Ahead of Saturday night’s Mantse derby, Great Olympics captain Gladson Awako says he hopes they can replicate the form that made them the talk of the town when they beat big boys Asante Kotoko a few weeks ago.

The Dade Boys play guests to the city. rivals Hearts of Oak in a 2020/21 Ghana Premier League (GPL) match-day 11 tie at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The two sides are separated by a point after 10 games with the Phobians sitting second on the league log with 16 while Olympics are five spots below.

“We are going in to get the three points against Hearts of Oak on Saturday,” skipper Awako told Happy FM ahead of the derby.

“They [Hearts] will be coming in for the win but we are not going to allow them to play their game.

“We will be ready and we hope to replicate what we did against Kotoko to Hearts on Saturday,” he added.

In their last meeting Hearts hammered Olympics 4-0 before the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League got truncated due to the outbreak of COVID-19.
