Goran Barjaktarevic: Legon Cities coach satisfied with squad quality

Legon Cities coach Goran Barjaktarevic is content with the quality in his squad ahead of the new Ghana Premier League (GPL) season.

The Royals signed 12 new players in the just-ended transfer window.

Dominant in the new signings was Ghana’s all-time top scorer Asamoah Gyan, who joined the club on transfer deadline day.

Former Asante Kotoko midfielder Baba Mahama and Aduana Stars’ Elvis Opoku have also joined the Royals.

“The quality in the team now looks much better than that of last season.

“The most important thing is to get the team ready for the league. I don’t have any problem at this point because everything looks good in training,” told Happy FM.

The Bosnia and Herzegovinian trainer’s target is to get his team play good football which is appealing to the fans.

“I want to make a good team which can play attractive football”.

Legon Cities will begin their 2020/21 league campaign against Berekum Chelsea on November 14, at the Accra Sports Stadium.
