2020/21 GPL: Liberty has enough quality to compete – Ocloo

Head coach of Liberty Professionals, David Ocloo says the club has enough quality to compete well in the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League (GPL).

Liberty fell to Great Olympics courtesy Maxwell Abbey and new found striker, Mudasiru Hannan goals before Degraft Amponsah pulled one back in a pre-season game at Carl Reindorf Park last Sunday.

Ocloo is promising a good outing in the new campaign which is four days away.

“What I want to see I have seen because you know in preseason it is not something you want to win at all cost.

“You want to see if the system you want to play, the boys will adapt to it and I think I like what I have seen.

“I think I can compete well next season.

“I think I can pick three wins out of my first five matches next season.

“Against Bechem United I am winning because I have the quality to beat them and come Sunday, we shall see Liberty at home,” he told Adamu Muftawu.

Liberty have have played 11 pre-season games, winning 10 and just a defeat coming against Great Olympics last Sunday at the Carl Reindorf Park in Dansoman.

The Scientific Soccer Lads will play Bechem United on Sunday November 15 in their season opener at the Carl Reindorf Park.
