Head coach of Elmina Sharks, Yaw Acheampong has admitted that Ebusua Dwarfs have proved to be difficult opponents any time his side faces them.
Elmina Sharks open their campaign in the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League with a regional derby against the Crabs.
Acheampong has led the side in pre-season over the past weeks in preparation for the start of the league.
The ex-international turned coach is happy with the level of work done so far and is confident the squad will be in shape before the season kicks off.
“Preparation, I think has been great and the response is very encouraging.
“I am happy with the work and the improvement of my boys.
“I think playing with Dwarfs has always been a difficult game.
“The boys are doing very well and it is my hope that we will be ready before the start of the league,” coach Acheampong told Sharks TV.
The 2020/21 Ghana Premier League starts on the weekend of November 13-16.
