Ghana will face winners of the last Wafu-B U-17 Cup of Nations Nigeria and Cote D’Ivoire in the group stage of this year’s tournament.
At a virtual draw held in Abidjan on Tuesday morning, the Black Starlets were placed in Group B alongside their familiar foes.
Nigeria, who went on to place fourth at the 2019 U-17 Afcon after winning the zonal competition, drew a bye in Tuesday’s live draw.
Tournament hosts Benin, who were also drawn bye, will face Niger, Burkina Faso and Togo in Group A.
The tournament, which was earlier scheduled for November, will now be staged between December 5 and 20, 2020.
The top two countries from this zone qualify for the next U-17 Africa Cup of Nations.
