GFA President to earn GH¢12,000 monthly allowance, ExCo members take GH¢4,000

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) President will earn GH¢12,000 monthly allowance after the proposals were passed at the federation’s 26th Ordinary Congress Tuesday.

The Vice-President of the GFA will also earn GH¢7,000 monthly.

The other Executive Council members will receive GH¢4,000 every month.

For sitting allowances, the GFA top position will earn GH¢1,600 while the Veep and ExCo members claim GH¢1,400 and GH¢1,300 respectively.

The new rates would be over GH¢7,000 higher than the set amount in 2018 (GH¢4,388).

It is almost double the amount paid (GH¢6,500) by during the tenure of the Normalization Committee.

On travel and feeding allowances, Congress approved the payment of $500 per day to the President and GH¢600 on domestic assignments.

The Vice-President will also earn $400 per day on international travels and GH¢500 on domestic assignments.

Other Executive Council members will receive  $300 per day on international travels and GH¢400 on domestic assignments.
