Dreams FC reach deal with Esso, announcement imminent

Former Hearts of Oak attacker Joseph Esso has completed a surprise switch to Dreams FC.

After news of the winger’s exit struck fans of the Rainbow club, several reports claimed a U-turn could be achieved due to the pleas from a section of the supporters.

Also, a move to Asante Kotoko was close, according to reports from Kumasi.

Esso’s farewell letter delayed. It was expected after the club’s announcement on the release of five players.

The possible return to Hearts delayed the statement.

It is, however, not surprising that Esso released the letter on Wednesday night after finalising his transfer to another club; Dreams FC.

But a deal with Dreams seems a shock to most football fans.

Footy-Ghana sources say the forward agreed to feature for the Dawu-based outfit with hopes of making a foreign move.

Esso is convinced that the trades of Zuberu Sharani, Emmanuel Lomotey and former skipper Leonard Owusu makes Dreams a fine path for his career.

The transfer will be announced soon by the Still Believe lads.
