Richard Attah extends Hearts contract by one year

Accra Hearts of Oak have announced the contract extension of number one goalkeeper Richard Attah.

The 25-year-old, who signed a three-year with the Phobians in 2019 after arriving from Elmina Sharks on a free, will remain at the club until the end of the 2023 season.

Hearts took to their Twitter handle to make a formal announcement of Attah’s contract extension.

The Phobians, days ago parted ways with five players – Joseph Esso, Abubakar Traore, Bernard Arthur, Christopher Bonney and Benjamin Agyare.

Some followers have hit hard at the way player contracts have been handled at the club lately.

Richard Attah’s contract extension could be a placating initiative as he is a key member of the Hearts of Oak squad.
