AC Milan in talks to sign Ivorian Serge Aurier

Ivorian international, Serge Aurier could soon join Italian giants AC Milan from Tottenham Hotspur in the ongoing transfer window.

The Rossoneri have opened discussions with Spurs for a potential €20 million pound move for the 28-year-old right back.

The former Toulouse defender has been a regular feature in Jose Mourinho’s side in the 2019/20 English Premier League.

After competition against outgone Kieran Trippier and Kyle-Walker, he has managed to stay grounded at White Hart Lane in the last three seasons since joining from Paris Saint German in 2017.

His performance has caught the eyes of AC Milan who want to augment their defensive ranks ahead of next season’s Serie A.

Milan have qualified for the Europa League play-offs and they believe Aurier will be a perfect addition to their squad for their European campaign.

Serge Aurier has appeared in the 2014 Fifa World Cup and three Africa Cup of Nations, winning the 2015 edition with Côte d’Ivoire.

He has played for French sides, Lens, Toulouse, Paris St Germain before joining Tottenham Hotspur in 2017.
