Asumah Abubakar extended his streak to 14 with a goal as SC Kriens travelled to beat FC Chiasso 4-2 in the Swiss Challenge League on Saturday.

Bahadir Yesilçayir made it 2-0 in the 23rd minute and that was the scoreline at halftime.

A minute on, Rrezart Hoxha made it 4-1 while Sofiane Bahloul scored a consolation in the 78th for FC Chiasso. 4-2, the match-day 30 fixture ended,

Asumah Abubakar’s match opener means the striker cum winger now tallies 14 league goals with six assists in 30 appearances. He is third on the top scorers’ chart behind Andi Zeqiri (15) and Aldin Turkes (19), both of league leaders Lausanne Sport, their next opponents.

Currently, at 4th position on the log, SC Kriens will continue their chase for promotion to the top tier at home to Lausanne on Tuesday, July 14.
