VIDEO: Afriyie Acquah scores as Malatyaspor edge Coffie’s Sivasspor

Ghana’s Afriyie Acquah scored the crucial matchwinner to help Yeni Malatyaspor edge past countryman Isaac Coffie’s Sivasspor in the Turkish Super Lig on Wednesday.

Both midfielders started the game for their respective sides but it was Coffie who did not last full-time, making way in the 87^th minute.

Acquah got the better of the battle of the Ghanaian duo with the only goal of the game in the 68^th minute – his debut in the Turkish topflight. Watch the goal below.

The win lifts Yeni Malatyaspor from the relegation zone to 13th on the league table with 32 points after 31 matches.

Isaac Coffie’s Sivasspor are well-placed on the log – sitting third with 54 points.
