Gilbert Koomson scores in SK Brann home defeat

Ghana winger Gilbert Koomson registered a goal as SK Brann allowed Rosenberg BK to come from behind to beat them 2-1 at home in the Norwegian league on Sunday.

Ivorian forward Karamoko Bamba set up Koomson with just five minutes played to put Brann in the lead.

The game wore on with both sides testing each other’s goal area but could not register a goal until the 45th minute when Rosenborg equalized from the boot of Even Hovland.

Gilbert Koomson, who saw full time, had his firepower doused when he was yellow-carded in the 51st minute.

Rosenborg fought feverishly and got the winner in the 90th minute from Carlo Holse.

The defeat at Brann Stadion means SK Brann will remain 5th with 7 points after 4 matches and Rosenborg climbing to 10th with 4 points.
