Injured Accra Hearts of Oak midfielder, Samudeen Ibrahim is likely to be out of action for two weeks, the club has announced.
Samudeen was carried off the field in their 1-0 against New Edubiase on the opening day of the 2015/16 Ghana Premier League and could not a return to the field. Subsequently, he was voted man of the match on his first premier league action for the club.
According to the club’s website, the former King Solomon player is suffering from a knock in the right dorsum of his foot.
Further test by the club’s medical team revealed that, although there is a knock, he is likely to be out for 14 days.

The current division one best player will be joining Inusah Musah on the sidelines, who has a fractured right fibula and has stayed out for 9 weeks now.
Advising the injured players, the club’s physiotherapist Okyere Baffour said:
“When the players get injured, I think first of all, they should calm down.
“We have noticed they worry too much and listen to too many people advising them; if you pass here, you will get well within days, and if you do this or that. You see there is no shortcut to recovery. Most of these things have been researched and proven,” he told the club’s website.
