#FootyTransfers: Hearts sign Niger midfielder Abdourahamane Mamane

Hearts of Oak have successfully acquired the services of Niger international Abdourahamane Mamane Lawali.

The 23-year-old midfielder signed a two-year contract with the Phobians on Thursday afternoon after proving himself good enough to the club’s technical handlers in training over the past fortnight.

Mamane – a former player of Sudanese side Al-Merreikh – is one of four targeted signings by the Ghanaian giants.

“Accra Hearts of Oak is delighted to announce the signing of Niger national team player, Abdourahamane Mamane Lawali.

“The defensive midfielder has signed a 2-year contract with us,” the club announced.

Mamane made his debut for Niger national team on September 10, 2019 against Morocco in an international friendly.

He has also had stints with Niger giants AS Douanes.

Much will be expected of him by the technical team led by Edward Nii Odoom as Hearts of Oak will strive to up their performance when the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League resumes.
