Emmanuel Sowah joins KAS Eupen till June 2022

KAS Eupen have announced completing the signing of Ghana defender Emmanuel Adjei Sowah from Belgian Pro League rivals RSC Anderlecht.

The right-back arrives together with Zimbabwe national team captain Knowledge Musona.

“Emmanuel Sowah and Knowledge Musona participated in our course in Doha and trained this week with the team in Eupen.

“The two players were able to convince by their performances and also integrated very well into the team.

“We are convinced that Emmanuel Sowah and Knowledge Musona will contribute to strengthening our team and will help us to play a good end to the season,” KAS Eupen published on their website Friday.

Emmanuel Sowah signed a two-and-a-half-year contract that will run until June 30, 2022.

The 22-year-old joined Anderlecht in his late teens from Ghana’s Dreams FC in 2016 but his spell was ravaged by injuries, limiting his game time after promotion to the senior team to just 10 games.

Sowah is expected to help KAS Eupen in their battle to avoid relegation from the Belgian topflight. They currently occupy 13th position with 19 points after 21 matches on the 16-team league table.
