Annan extends Kotoko stay, to earn GHS 4,000 salary

Asante Kotoko captain, Felix Annan has extended his contract with the club by three more years.

The goalkeeper signed the deal which will make him one the top earners at the club on Tuesday, December 31.

Footy-Ghana.com sources indicate Annan will be on a GHS 4,000 monthly salary and receive a GHS 150,000 sign-on fee to be spread on pro-rata.

Annan’s extension was subjected to a lot of public discussions when it emerged weeks ago that the club had allowed him to run into the final month of his previous deal before opening up for negotiations.

And the Black Stars shot-stopper explains he had no intention of leaving on a free.

“I am the captain of the club and so have a mission which I have not accomplished. I neither wished to leave the club nor made any exorbitant demands,” Annan told the Kotoko Express App.

“I am happy here, want to remain here to accomplish the mission that I have set for myself,” he added.
