VIDEO: Sensational Jordan Ayew goal sinks West Ham

Jordan Ayew scored a superb 90th-minute solo goal as Crystal Palace rallied to beat London rivals West Ham United 2-1 at Selhurst Park on Boxing Day.

The game looked destined to end as a 1-1 draw until the Ghana international delivered an outstanding piece of individual skill to ensure he scored both home and away as the Eagles completed a Premier League double over the Hammers this season.

After a barren first half, Robert Snodgrass shocked Roy Hodgson’s side with a brilliant opener, a one-time into the top corner off a Michael Antonio pass in the 57th minute.

Ayew then set the comeback tone for Palace. His cross was fumbled by Jimenez, allowing midfielder Cheikhou Kouyate to thump a low effort under the keeper for the equalizer against his old club on 68 minutes.

Then cometh the hour and the man Ayew with the late winner. On the edge of the area, he spinned past one challenge and glided between the Hammers centre-backs before dinking the ball over the onrushing Jimenez and into the net.

Crystal Palace held on to their 2-1 lead throughout the six minutes additional time played to secure a massive victory over West Ham.

Jordan Ayew’s latest is his 5th goal in the Premier League this season.
