Hearts of Oak have announced the departure of young striker Salassie Bakai Blessing from the club.
According to the Ghanaian giants, the 19-year-old’s contract has been terminated on mutual terms.
“The Accra Hearts of Oak management has mutually terminated the contract of striker, Selassie Bakai.
“We thank him for his professional conduct during his stay with the Club and wishes him well for the future,” the club published on its social media handles Wednesday.
Bakai was a product of the Phobians’ youth side, Auroras. He was promoted to the senior team in March 2018.
Meanwhile, Hearts of Oak thrashed Patron Sporting Club 4-1 in a test match earlier in the day. Kofi Kordzi scored twice while Raddy Ovouka and Michelle Sarpong got the other goals.
