Boakye Ansah named new Kotoko PRO

Journalist Kennedy Boakye Ansah has been appointed new Public Relations Officer (PRO) by Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko.

He replaces Lawyer Samuel Sarfo Duku who has been reassigned to a new position as Head of Administration and Legal Affairs.

“Management has with immediate effect re-assigned Samuel Sarfo Duku to be the Head of Administration and Legal Affairs of the club.

“He is to co-ordinate the affairs of all the departments in the club and report to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), George Amoako,” read portions of a club statement Sunday.

“Consequently, Management has appointed [journalist] Kennedy Boakye Ansah as the Public Relation Officer of the club. His appointment also takes immediate effect,” the statement added.

Boakye Ansah is expected to translate his enormous experience tapped from long years of service as a journalist from state broadcaster, the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC) into setting an improved standard in Kotoko’s communications.

He recently acted as spokesperson for the organizing committee of the Normalization Special Cup.
