Young Ghana forward Kwame Amponsah Karikari has cut short his loan spell with Turkish lower side side Balikesirspor.
The 22-year-old speedy striker’s lack of games at parent club Halmstads of Sweden pushed him out during the summer.
Karikari chanced on a return to Turkey where he had previously succeeded in a similar loan spell at Balikesirspor back in 2012. He raked up 12 goals during that spell.
But this time, the former AIK man’s quest for regular playing time at his loan club has been short-lived after failing to make an impact.
The former Ghana youth international failed to score in 12 appearances and has cut short his switch which was set to run till the end of season.
