Defender Evans Quao has signed a two-year pre-contract with Asante Kotoko pending medicals, footy-Ghana.com can confirm.
The centre-back was at the Kotoko Secretariat on Tuesday morning to negotiate his personal terms following a transfer agreement reached with his club Medeama SC last week.
Footy-Ghana.com has confirmed that the dreadlocked defender concluded on a two-year contract and has been scheduled for a medical with club doctor Kwaku Boateng later in the week.
The 25-year-old played only one season for the 2015 MTN FA Cup winners after returning from a stint abroad with Mumbai FC in the Indian League.
Quao who becomes the sixth signing by the dethroned league champions ahead of the 2015/16 season previously featured for Heart of Lions before leaving to seek greener pastures.
