Ghana and Mauritania have agreed to an international friendly to be staged at the Accra Sports Stadium come March 26.
The Mauritania Football Federation announced the agreement with their Ghanaian counterparts, the GFA, on Monday after failing to reach a deal with Senegal.

Like the Black Stars, the Mourabitounes have already qualified for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations. The Egypt tournament later in June will see the Mauritanians participate in the elite continental showpiece for the first time.
Both countries will however first honor their final matches in the 2019 Afcon qualifiers. Ghana host Kenya in Accra on March 23 while Mauritania play guests to Burkina in Ouagadougou the day before – following which they make a short trip to Accra for the warm-up match against coach Kwasi Appiah’s side.
The friendly will afford Kwasi Appiah another opportunity to assess all 24 players invited for this international break.
