Young Ghana striker Dauda Mohammed looks set to complete the ongoing 2018/19 season on loan at Vitesse Arnhem.
According to media reports in the Netherlands, Vitesse have secured a purchase option in their loan agreement with RSC Anderlecht for the 20-year-old Mohammed.
Het Laatste Nieuws reports that Vitesse beat competition from clubs in Germany and Austria for the former Asante Kotoko player. The Dutch Eredivisie side have been courting the forward since last summer.
Dauda Mohammed joined the Belgian giants from Kotoko in a $450,000 move beginning January 2017 till summer 2021.
Footy-Ghana.com gathers that Dauda Mohammed, as a result of the impending move, was left out of Anderlecht’s winter training camp to Spain last Monday.
The pacey attacker will hope to get more games in the Eredivisie with Vitesse. In the first half of the season, he only made five appearances in the Belgian Pro League and just two outings in the Europa League.
