Ghana’s Raphael Dwamena helped Levante UD ease into the Spanish Copa del Rey Round of 16 with his first goal since arriving from FC Zurich in the summer.
The Frogs defeated lower tier side CD Lugo 2-0 at Estadio Ciudad de Valencia to advance with a 3-1 aggregate win on Thursday.
Enjoying a rare start in five appearances overall, Dwamena nailed the victory with the second goal for Levante during time added on after racing for a lob by Ruben Rochina.
Levante’s opener came on 80 minutes through Coke.
The 23-year-old lasted the entire duration of the game while compatriot Emmanuel Boateng enjoyed 65 minutes of game time before getting replaced.
The duo will be hoping for more minutes in subsequent games for the LaLiga outfit.
