‘The goals will come’ – Ayew assures Palace faithful

Ghana forward Jordan Ayew insists he is calm about his continuing lack of goals for new club Crystal Palace.

After firing blanks again in Sunday’s Premier League 2-2 draw at home with Arsenal, Ayew who joined the Eagles on loan from Swansea City in the summer said he is not stressed but rather confident of breaking his duck soon.

“The most important thing for me is to work for the team and to make sure the team win.

“My personal view is that the goals will come when they come. I’m not stressed or panicked at all. I just keep on working hard and I’ll get rewarded one day,” he told the club’s official website.

“We know we have confidence in ourselves. This league is not easy but today we had a good performance and we’ll build on that,” Ayew added.

Jordan Ayew has so far made six Premier League appearances and one in the EFL Cup for Crystal Palace.
