Karela United’s Ivorian midfielder Jean Ourega Vital is on the verge of joining South African side SuperSport United, Footy-Ghana.com is informed.
The ABSA Premiership side have all but beaten Ghana’s Asante Kotoko and other suitors by settling on a $100,000 transfer fee for the 22-year-old.

A source close to the deal tells Footy-Ghana.com: “SuperSport are hitting the club [Karela] with a $100,000 price for Vital. His visa is already secured and flight ticket too has arrived.
“The deal is subject to medical as per standard so the player is expected to travel to South Africa very soon.”
According to the Footy-Ghana.com source, Karela United have a 15% sell-on clause in their agreement with SuperSport.
Jean Ourega Vital, a defensive midfielder, was signed by Karela in December 2017. He featured 13 times for Karela in the first round of the truncated 2017/18 Ghana Premier League.
