Felix Annan positive ahead of Aduana clash

Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Felix Annan is confident his outfit will beat Aduana Stars in their matchday 15  Zylofon Premier League fixture at the Baba Yara Stadium.

According to the 23-year-old shot stopper, they look to return to winning ways after drawing against Liberty Professionals on matchday 14.

“We are facing the defending champions, we know they have a good side and they are participating in the Caf Confederation Cup too.”

“Playing against Aduana Stars looks like a rivalry fixture. It won’t be an easy game on Sunday but we’re poised for victory over them [Aduana Stars],” Annan told the club’s website.

“We want to end the first round of the 2017/18 season on a high note. We’re going to prepare very well to grab all the maximum points against Aduana because we drew in our last game to at least finish in the top four.”

The national team goalie further pleaded with the club’s fans to support them.

“I am calling on the fans to come out in their numbers on Sunday to support us with their prayers and we the players are also working hard in training to make sure we win on Sunday. So I implore them to come out and support us to finish the first round on a high note.”

Asante Kotoko are placed sixth on the league log with 21 points. Aduana has amassed 16 points from ten league games and are 12th on the table with four fixtures at hand.
