Kotoko call on Mamponhene, told to “eschew indiscipline, kill themselves”

The Executive Chairman of Asante Kotoko, Dr. Kwame Kyei, on Sunday, led the playing body to pay a courtesy call on Mamponhene Daasebre Osei Bonsu II at his palace.

The Porcupine Warriors have pitched camp in his land for the past week in preparations for the resumption of the 2017/18 ZylofonCash Premier League which has taken a brief break.

The Mamponhene blessed the team and advised the players to eschew indiscipline and “kill” themselves for Kotoko.

Asante Kotoko have been using the facilities at the University of Education, Winneba – Mampong Campus since Monday, May 14 towards their matchday 13 fixture at home to Elmina Sharks. The game is scheduled for Wednesday, May 23.

Footy-Ghana.com understands the team will head straight to the Baba Yara Sports Stadium from their base in Mampong for the league encounter.

The Porcupine Warriors have announced the signings of six new youngsters and could have some of them make their debuts against Sharks.
