Accra Hearts of Oak have signed teenage defender William Dankyi on a long-term deal.
The 18-year-old arrives from regional rivals Liberty Professionals.
“Dankyi is a marauding left full back and a member of the 2018 Black Satellites team.
“The youngster has come through the ranks having played for the national U17, the Black Starlets, from 2012-14,” the Phobians announced in describing their new acquisition Thursday afternoon.
William Dankyi comes as a direct replacement for Joshua Otoo who recently parted ways with Hearts.
Dankyi becomes the second signing by Hearts of Oak in the second transfer window of the 2017/18 Ghana Premier League.
The club, earlier this week, also signed experienced goalkeeper Ernest Sowah in a free agent deal.
