Ghana defender Joseph Aidoo has been named KRC Genk’s second best player of the year.
The 2017/18 season has been a remarkable campaign for the solid-rock defender who joined the Smurfs last summer from Swedish side Hammarby IF.
The former Inter Allies captain played 31 matches, starting 29 and netting three times.
Aidoo claimed 4 man of the match awards with a memorable one coming against Anderlecht where he scored the only goal of the match.
Genk are 6th on the Belgian elite league table with a game to go.
