WATCH: Kotoko pip Bechem 1-0 to return to winning ways

Asante Kotoko’s 1-0 win over Bechem United on matchday 12 of the Ghana Premier League meant the Porcupines have now recorded their first win in three games.

Emmanuel Gyamfi’s 71st minute strike handed coach Paa Kwasi Fabin’s side the win that has eluded them for a while. They lost to bitter rivals Hearts of Oak (0-1) at home and Karela United (3-1) at the CAM Park.

It was a tough game for Kotoko, especially in the first half, with Bechem probing for the first goal but goalkeeper Felix Annan saved the Reds on several occasions.

Kotoko came in strong in the second half, got the much needed goal and held on for their first triumph in three duels.

Per the win, Kotoko move to 8th, four points behind leaders AshantiGold who have a game in hand.
