Asante Kotoko coach Paa Kwesi Fabin has intimated that the team needs time to be at the top level.
The Porcupines have endured a topsy-turvy campaign in the Ghana Premier League, losing three games in their eight games. After recording their first draw at home; 1-1 against Berekum Chelsea, the former Black Starlets gaffer asserted that the team needs time to achieve what their furious fans desire.
“I’ve been here for two months and definitely, I’m not a magician to turn the fearsome team it once was and even Pep Guardiola can’t do that. We are working to develop the lads so its matter of time and patience.
“When I came, I found problems with stamina and that the team hardly plays in the second half. But I believe the players are responding well,” Fabin told reporters at the post-match press conference.
Kotoko are placed 7th on the league log with 11 points; three points adrift leaders Ashantigold.
