The first player transfer and registration window for the 2017/18 Ghana Premier League will officially close at 23:59 Hrs on Friday.
Clubs were given the opportunity to begin registering their squads for the new season on November 29, 2017.
Speaking at the launch of the 2017/18 campaign Monday, Premier League Board Chairman Ashford Tettey Oku said the registration window, as stipulated by Fifa, will run its full cycle on that day.
“…Fifa has updated our competition management system. By midnight 2nd March, the registration of players would have run its full cycle of 12 weeks,” he said.
The 2017/18 Ghana Premier League kicks off on Friday afternoon with title holders Aduana Stars hosting Liberty Professionals at the Nana Agyeman Badu I Park in Dormaa.
