In a twin jolt, Thursday’s Ordinary Congress of the Ghana Football Association has been postponed indefinitely.
This follows the postponement of the launch of the 2017/18 Ghana Premier League.
On Monday, the GFA/PLB was forced to call off the launch of the new season after Accra Great Olympics secured an application for injunction on the league to ensure their ‘unresolved’ matters before the FA are determined conclusively.
The Ghana FA Executive Committee held a meeting Tuesday February 6 2018 and discussed the development and other matters.
Following the meeting, General Secretary Isaac Addo has issued a statement announcing that both the Congress and the planned seminars for the new season on Wednesday have been “indefinitely postponed.”
The 24th Ordniary Congress had been scheduled for Thursday February 8 with the 2017/18 football season kicking off the following day.

POSTPONEMENT OF THE 24TH ORDINARY SESSION OF CONGRESS
The Ghana Football Association (GFA) sends its compliments.
We are sorry to inform you that the 24th Ordinary session of Congress scheduled for Thursday February 8, 2018 at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence (GSCE), Prampram has been postponed indefinitely.
This postponement is as a result of a legal action brought against the GFA by Accra Great Olympics Football Club Limited.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused by this postponement.
