Asante Kotoko have submitted a 30-man squad for the Ghalca G-8 Tournament.
Coach Steven Polack squad is one short of the list of 26 submitted to Caf for the 2018 Confederation Cup. Lanky striker Abass Mohammed has been ruled out of the G-8 due to injury.
Sulky goalkeeper Ernest Sowah appears to be at the exit as he has also been omitted from the Porcupines squad.
Kotoko have included as many as five guest players in their squad – Bright Ejike, Frederick Boateng, Najeeb Abass, Isaac Amponsah and Hamidu Abdul Fatawu. These players are seeking contracts with the FA Cup holders.
Clubs are allowed to use four guest players in a match during the G-8 Tournament.
Asante Kotoko are in the same group with league champions Aduana Stars, Dreams FC and Tecbiman Eleven Wonders. They face the latter in their opening match.
