France vs Ghana: Dramani names provisional Black Queens squad

Ghana senior women’s coach Mas-Ud Dramani has handed call-ups to 28 players for preparation towards their upcoming international friendly against France.

The Black Queens are confirmed opponents for Les Bleues of France in an October 23 game which will serve as part of their preparations for the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations to be staged in Ghana next year.

France are hosts of the next Fifa Women’s World Cup and intend to use the friendly date with Ghana to test their team for the competition.

Conspicuously missing from the provisional squad are experienced duo Samira Suleman and Linda Eshun.

Players who have been invited are report to the Black Queens camp in Prampram on Tuesday October 3 at 11:00am.

The Women’s Afcon will be held from 17 November to 1 December 2018 in Ghana.

The winner of the competition, the first and second runners-up will automatically represent Africa at the 2019 Fifa Women’s World Cup in France.
