U-20 WWCQ: Black Princesses whip Algeria 10-0 over two legs

The Black Princesses of Ghana are through to the second round of the 2018 Fifa Under-20 Women’s World Cup qualifiers after handing Algeria another 5-0 defeat on Sunday.

Coach Yusif Basigi’s girls had won the first leg with the same scoreline in Algiers, before completing the tie 10-0 on aggregate at the Cape Coast Stadium.

Priscilla Adubea and Helena Obeng both scored to give Ghana a 2-0 lead at halftime.

In the second half, the trio of Philicity Asuako, Vivian Adjei Konadu and Grace Asantewa took turns to register their names on the scoresheet. 

Ghana will face the winner of the tie between Ethiopia and Kenya in the penultimate round of the qualifiers to the 2018 World Cup which will be hosted by France.
