The semifinals fixtures for the 2017 Wafu Cup have been confirmed with hosts Ghana set to face Niger while Benin rekindle rivalry with close neighbours Nigeria.
These games have been fixed for Thursday, September 21 at the Cape Coast Stadium.
Ghana advanced to the last four as Group A leaders and have set up a tie with Niger who finished second after their defeat to Benin on Tuesday. The Menas lost 2-1 to the Squirrels with nine men in Elmina.
Benin’s victory puts them top of Group B with 6 points. They now face Nigeria who placed second behind the Black Stars in Group A in the first semifinal game at the Cape Coast Stadium on Thursday. Kickoff is at 3pm
Ghana and Niger will play the second semifinal match at 6pm.
