#FootyTransfers: Joe Dodoo joins Charlton on 4-month deal

Ghana hopeful, Joe Dodoo has joined English Championship side Charlton Athletic on loan from Rangers for the next four months.

The loan agreement for the young striker thus lasts until January.

Dodoo, who is awaiting Fifa clearance for his nationality switch having previously featured for the English youth sides, had fallen down the Ibrox pecking order this season.

Just about a fortnight ago, Rangers boss had cautioned the youngster to up his game.

Meanwhile, Charlton boss Karl Robinson said: “We have been looking for a striker that can complement what we already have. We have a big number nine in Josh Magennis and Joe gives us something different. I think fans will like him, he is quick, can stretch the game and get in behind defenders.”

Joe Dodoo becomes the 12th player to leave the Light Blues this summer.
