Dreams FC make quick GHPL return

The ‘Still Believe’ boys are back. Dreams FC have completed a quick return to the Ghana Premier League following demotion after the 2015/16 season.

Dreams bounce back into the Ghanaian topflight for the 2017/18 season after thrashing hapless Okwahu United 3-0 Sunday.

An opening goal from teenager Zuberu Sharani and two more from the experienced Eric Gawu all in the second half sealed the remarkable feat at the Dawu  Park.

The Kweiman-based side have secured an unassailable lead in Zone Three of the GN Bank Division One League with two matches to go.

Hitting 70 points, Dreams FC are nine points apart second-placed Heart of Lions who stumbled against Young Wise on Saturday.

Two sides have now sealed promotion to next season’s topflight. Karela United were the first to qualify from Zone Two earlier this month.
