Ghanaian international Ebenezer Assifuah has completed a three-year permanent switch from FC Sion to French lower tier side Le Havre.
The club announced on their website on Wednesday afternoon after a representative from the club flew to complete the deal with the 23-year-old goal poacher who is in Ghana’a camp at the Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon.
The former U-20 player hasn’t enjoyed enough playing time for his Switzerland-based club Sion since joining them in 2013. Before making the move, he had started only three matches out of the 14 appearances this season and scored two goals for the Swiss club.
