TWO YEARS: Coach Logarusic joins Kotoko in Ghana return

Asante Kotoko have hired Croat, Zdravko Logarusic, as substantive head coach.

The 54-year-old UEFA Pro License holder joins the Porcupine Warriors on a two-year deal.

He takes over from Michael Osei who has been in acting capacity since the exit of former head coach David Duncan during the 2015/16 season.

Footy-Ghana understands that Osei who will now drop to the assistant coach role was communicated to about the new appointment on Monday.

Logarusic is no stranger to Ghana football having previously managed two Ashanti region-based clubs – King Faisal (2009/10) and Ashanti Gold (2010/11).

He moved on to take up the job at Gor Mahia before ending up with AFC Leopards – all in Kenya. He also managed Tanzania’s Simba SC in between his two stints in Kenya.

Logarusic’s last job was at Interclube of Angola just last year.
