Accra Hearts of Oak marked their 113th anniversary with a narrow 1-0 triumph over Karela United at the Aliu Mahama Stadium in Tamale.
Hamza Issah’s third-minute goal secured a vital win for the Phobians, propelling them into the top four and extending their winning streak to three matches.
The Phobians held on to the lead till half time and despite the threats from Karela in the second half, the scores never changed.
This narrow victory is Hearts’ fifth of the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League and Karela have now lost six games after eleven match-weeks.
