Mohammed Kudus ends goal drought as West Ham thrash Ipswich Town 4-1

Mohammed Kudus brought an end to his recent goal-scoring drought in style as West Ham United cruised to a 4-1 victory over Ipswich Town in the Premier League.

The Ghanaian international, who had struggled to find the net in his previous six league appearances, was under increasing pressure following a series of underwhelming performances.

His lack of impact saw him substituted at half-time during West Ham’s recent 2-2 draw with Brentford.

However, Kudus responded in emphatic fashion at the London Stadium, rising above the Ipswich defence to head home a well-placed cross and ignite celebrations among the home supporters.

His calm and composed celebration, seated in his trademark pose, drew cheers from his teammates and the fans alike.

The 24-year-old midfielder had endured a tough start to the 2024/25 campaign, failing to register a goal or assist before his strike against Ipswich.

In contrast, Kudus impressed during his debut season with the Hammers, scoring eight goals and providing six assists across 33 appearances.

The win lifts West Ham’s spirits as they continue their push for a strong Premier League finish, while Kudus will be hoping to build on his return to form.
